2027:  Adamawa women raise N127m to purchase APC governorship form for PTDF boss 


Adamawa women under the auspices of Galadima Women Support Movement ( GWSM) across the 21 local governments in the state have added their voices in the clarion calls on the Executive Secretary of Petroleum Trust Development Fund( PTDF) Alh. Ahmadu Tijjani Galadima to contest for the governorship of Adamawa state under the platform of the APC come 2027.

 The women group make this known in Yola on Wednesday, at a convention organised to prevailed on him to answered the call.

Speaking at the event, the state cordinator  of Galadima women support movement, Hajiya Mariatu Adamu Nyako, re-echoed their call on him to formally declared his interest, noting that they have already raised the sum of 127m Naira to purchase APC nomination form for him.

 She noted that the fund was raised through  their personal efforts and contributions from their savings and legitimate businesses.

Nyako described him as one of the proud son of Adamawa state who have done well for Nigeria and the people of the state and has all it takes to build upon the successes of the Fintiri administration going by his track records, sacrifices, compassion and love for the common man and development of the state.

Also speaking, APC ALGON chairman in the state, Alh. Musa Debito, who represented the party leadership in the state, reiterated the commitments of the party to provides a level playing field for all aspirants vying for various positions under the party platform and ensure fairness, equity and justice to all its members. 

On her part, the wife of the Gubernatorial hopeful, Hajiya sa’ adatu Tijjani Galadima, thanked the women group for their supports and unwavering commitments towards the actualization of the dream, assuaring that they did not take this support for granted and  would not let them down.

 She noted that her husband is quite aware of the numerous challenges bedeviĺing the state and has answers that can addressed the challenges, improve the living conditions of the citizens and change the face of development in the state.
