APC Plateau State Forum Abuja (APSFA) has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) North Central Zone over the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the second term in office in a meeting held last Wednesday in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital.
In a press statement released in Abuja at the weekend, signed by APSFA Chairman, Hon Yakubu Pam Gam Sakondong JP, it noted the APC North Central Congress position on President Tinubu led by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief George Akume and State Governors led by Engr Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State was the affirmation of the voice of the North Central Zone as represented by the APC North Central Congress.
According to the statement, “The North Central Zone being the bridge between the North and South of Nigeria has always been truthful in power assessment of the Nigeria body politics. President Tinubu’s handling of the APC and balancing the governance of this country where every segment is represented is the sine qua non of the growth and development of this country being enjoyed now.
“APSFA also applauded the State Governors, their Excellencies Hyacinth Alia Benue, Usman Ododo Kogi, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq Kwara, Muhammad Bago Niger, A. A. Sule- Nasarawa and Caleb Mutfwang Plateau represented by Deputy Ngo Josephine Piyo.
“APSFA called on all citizens of North Central Zone of Nigeria to remain focus and consistent towards the 2027 general elections to ensure that President Tinubu is re-elected for the overall good of the zone and Nigeria at large. President Tinubu’s victory in 2027 will consolidate the already gained progress of his first term that has put Nigeria in the path of progress” the statement concluded.
Recall that APSFA last Wednesday endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Plateau State Governor, Bar. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for reelection.
The endorsement was announced in a press conference addressed in Abuja by Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Yakubu Pam Gam Sakondong JP.
