The MA Network, a platform galvanising various support groups for the former Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar SAN, has declared that the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention has injected fresh momentum into its statewide mobilisation drive for the APC ahead of 2027.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the convention, the Network’s spokesperson, Dr Aliyu Idris Yusuf, said the support structure was leaving the convention with renewed vigour to deepen grassroots engagement across all the wards in the 20 local government areas of Bauchi state.
“This convention has further strengthened our resolve,” Yusuf said. “The MA Network is returning from this convention more focused, and more determined to mobilise total support for the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and our principal, MA Abubakar SAN.”
Yusuf assured that the Network’s immediate post-convention agenda is to build a sweeping electoral coalition capable of delivering a landslide victory for the APC in Bauchi State.
According to him, “our target is nothing short of a block vote for President Tinubu in Bauchi in 2027. We are activating our structures from the ward to the senatorial district levels to ensure every polling community understands the stakes of the next election.”
He added that the Network’s mobilisation strategy is anchored on galvanising all other support groups for MA Abubakar to ensure voter outreach, youth engagement, women participation, and community-based political education designed to consolidate the APC’s strength in one of the North-East’s most strategic voting states.
The spokesperson also called on the people of Bauchi State to rally behind MA Abubakar’s governorship ambition, describing him as “the most credible, experienced, and widely trusted contestant in the emerging 2027 governorship race.”
Yusuf stated that the network is fully committed to routing victory for both the APC and MA Abubakar, stressing that “the people desire tested leadership, political stability, and a governor who can align Bauchi with the centre for maximum development gains.”
He concluded that the MA Network’s post-convention mission is clear: “to galvanise other support groups in mobilising total grassroots support for President Tinubu’s re-election as well as ensure that MA Abubakar emerges governor as the most acceptable leader to deliver Bauchi and strengthen the APC’s national victory in 2027.”
