The former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) today and has also collected his membership card, confirming his move to the party.
The former Governor made the announcement publicly, putting an end to speculations surrounding his next political step after leaving the NNPP.
Kwankwaso also called on members of the Kwankwasiyya movement and his supporters across the country to join the ADC, as the party begins to position itself strongly for the next general election.
His entry is expected to boost the ADC, especially in the North, as many believe he is coming with his strong political structure and loyal supporters under the Kwankwasiyya movement.
