An old video of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh discussing her marriage to her ex-husband, businessman Olakunle Churchill, has resurfaced online, drawing renewed attention following Churchill’s recent comments about his current marriage to Rosy Meurer.

In the resurfaced clip, Tonto emotionally reflected on her experience during their wedding period, alleging that she personally financed most of the ceremony while she was pregnant. She claimed she later felt disappointed, stating that promises made to reimburse her were not fulfilled.

The actress further described her experience as painful, suggesting she felt taken advantage of during the relationship and even referred to herself as “the biggest scam” in Churchill’s life.

Reacting to earlier claims by Churchill that only a few people attended their wedding, Tonto also revisited moments from the ceremony, including an incident where Churchill’s mother allegedly sprayed ₦2,000 during the event.

She additionally stated that her father was present at the wedding and alleged that she was responsible for purchasing materials and arranging tailoring for the groom’s outfit.

The resurfaced video has since sparked fresh reactions on social media, reigniting public interest in the former couple’s past relationship and ongoing exchanges.

“He didn’t pay for anything at all. A lot of people say, ‘Oh, you’re very stupid! You paid for your wedding, you were desperate! And all what not. But that wasn’t the case. He kept saying was, ‘Baby, go ahead and spend, I’ll pay you back,” Tonto said in part.
