The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be bringing back some familiar faces for season 15, but not everyone is getting a second chance.
After Bravo confirmed that Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania will return as the core cast, speculation began swirling that former cast members Kim DePaola and Danielle Staub could also rejoin the series.
According to one insider, Kim D has a real shot.
“Kim D is absolutely in the running to return,” the source told Reality Blurb. “She knows all the women, has authentic relationships with them, and a LONG history both with them and the show.”
The insider added that producers are looking for someone who can shake things up. “Bravo knows they need someone to stir the pot,” the source said. “She’s never been afraid to be that person.”
Danielle, however, reportedly will not be coming back.
“There’s not a chance production would bring her back,” the source said.
The insider said Danielle’s previous return ended badly after an altercation with Margaret Josephs. “They gave her a second chance, and that resulted in her pulling Margaret’s hair hard,” the source said.
“They like drama, but violent behavior has always been something they’re not in favor of.”
The source also said Danielle no longer has relationships with the current cast, adding, “Ultimately, Bravo finds her to be a liability.”
