Emergence of Yilwatda, Morka reflection of confidence in their leadership capacity – APC G3
A frontline All Progressives Congress support group, the APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3) has described the returned National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, following their emergence at the party’s National Convention as a reflection of confidence in their leadership capacity.
The group expressed optimism that under the leadership of Prof. Yilwatda, alongside key officials such as Felix Morka, the party would consolidate on its achievements and deepen its grassroots connection across the country.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Saturday by its National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, the group noted that their experience and commitment would further strengthen the ruling party ahead of future political engagements.
APC G3 commended party delegates for what it termed a transparent and credible convention, adding that the outcome reinforces internal democracy and unity within the APC.
Highlighting the significance of the moment, APC G3 revealed that members of the APC in Ika South Local Government Area were actively present at the reception held in honour of Prof. Yilwatda at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja, demonstrating strong grassroots support for the party leadership.
According to Oyema, the presence of Ika South APC faithful at the event underscored their loyalty and readiness to support the party’s leadership in advancing its Renewed Hope Agenda.
The reception at the Abuja Continental Hotel was attended by the NPS, Barr Morka Engr. Jerry Ehiwario, Chairman Ika South LGA; Williams Eghebi, Delta State APC Assistant Financial Secretary; Chief Peter Idion, Chairman of the Delta State Traffic Management Agency; and Hon. Sunny Ogwu, former Chairman of Ika South LGA, alongside several other party faithful from the area.
APC G3 reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising support at the grassroots level while urging party members nationwide to remain united and focused on delivering good governance to Nigerians.
