Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda matriculates 1,450 students 


The Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda in Zamfara state has matriculated 1,450 students admitted into various National and Higher National Diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This was made known by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Aminu Yusuf, while fielding questions from newsmen at the matriculation ceremony.

The ceremony was held at the main campus of the Polytechnic in Kaura Namoda Town the headquarters of Kaura Namoda local government Friday.

He maintained that some of the achievements under his leadership include,  fencing of  of the institution to enhance security, completion of  department of nutrition and 80% completion of ICT centre.

He commended the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) for accreditation of 38 programmes during his one year in office.

He also appreciated the effort of Zamfara state government who built modern hostel for the students in the polytechnic.

Dr. Yusuf further applauded the effort of Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu, lawmaker representing Bungudu and Maru federal constituency who procured five motorized boreholes for the polytechnic.

The Rector commended the state Government and NBTE for their support to the Polytechnic.

He urged the new intake students to remain law abiding  and shun social vices that could tarnish the polytechnic’s image.
