The chairman of Ikwerre local government area, Eze Hon Charles Wobodo, Wednesday said the council would partner with a Russian company to drive development project to Ikwerre people.
Hon. Wobodo stated this when a delegation and representative of Russian company paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Isiokpo council headquarters.
Wobodo, who commended the zeal and unwavering willingness of the foreign company to develop Ikwerre local government said, it would partner and support the establishment of Floor Mill Factory in the area, especially in the areas of provision of land and security to ensure the actualisation of the project.
The Ikwerre council chairman further stated that the council would not hesitate to contribute its quota towards the establishment of a flour mill industry, adding that he would ensure availability of land and security to achieve set goal.
Wobodo expressed happiness that the company is a production company that would provide employment opportunities for the people.
Earlier, leader of the delegation and representative of the Russian company, Elechi Nwagwagu, said they were in Ikwerre local government area to introduce a Russian company that has the intention to come to the council to establish development in the area.
