As things get more serious between Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton, Kanye West, the father of Kim’s four children, is reportedly demanding a conversation with him.
According to a source, the rapper has expressed interest in meeting the Formula 1 star, who has recently been spending time with Kardashian and her family. The insider said Ye wants to connect with the man who is now part of his children’s lives.
“He’s insisting he wants to speak with him,” the source shared with the National Enquirer.
Kardashian, however, is said to be taking a cautious approach as her relationship with Hamilton develops.
“She definitely doesn’t want Kanye anywhere near this relationship yet,” the source said. “She’s worried he’ll mess it up.”
The pair only recently went public, and those close to Kardashian say she is focused on maintaining stability as the relationship grows.
“Bringing Kanye into it right away could complicate everything,” the source added. “You just don’t know what he might say or do.”
Ye and Kardashian, who share four children, have continued to navigate co-parenting since their split. While Ye has previously said he wants to stay involved in his children’s lives, sources say Kardashian is mindful of when and how introductions take place.
Hamilton has not publicly addressed the reports, and representatives for the three have not commented.
“She’s just trying to protect what she has right now,” the insider said.
