Lil Tjay is addressing his relationship with Offset, saying he has no beef with the rapper.

Speaking in Beverly Hills, Tjay responded to TMZ’s questions about their past tension.

“I ain’t got no beef for nobody, brother,” he said, while also promoting his upcoming album. “My album’s coming out May 1st … They Just Ain’t You, it stands for TJAY.”

The comments follow recent attention surrounding an April 6 shooting involving Offset. Tjay was initially linked to the situation after an alleged dispute that resulted in a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.

“I’m just as confused as everyone else about that,” Tjay said in a previous interview, noting he was advised not to speak in detail.

He has denied involvement in any violence, and his attorney, Dawn Florio, said there are no charges connecting him to the shooting.

“Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false,” she wrote at the time on Instagram. “We encourage people to consult trusted news sources, and to verify the accuracy of any reporting, before reflexively sharing or repeating baseless rumors.”

Offset later addressed the situation, telling his fans that he is “focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music.”
