The Nigerian Legion, Kaduna state chapter, has elected new executives that will run the association for the next four years.
The election which took place at the weekend at General Hassan Katsina House, Kawo-Kaduna, was conducted by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kaduna state.
Those elected are: Sani Mohammed Garba as chairman, Awo Bala Adamu as vice chairman and Nuhu Gaiya as treasurer.
Speaking shortly after the election, the chairman-elect, Sani Mohammed Garba promised to be sincere for the betterment of the Nigerian Legion, Kaduna state chapter.
He then called for support and cooperation to enable him achieve the desired result.
Garba commends Kaduna state governor, Senator Uba Sani, saying that the Nigerian Legion will give all the needed support to ensure peace, togetherness and development among others.
Also speaking, the vice chairman, Awo Bala Adamu, commended all the electorate and assured that the new executive will put in their best for the unity and progress of the association.
