The Director of the Chinese Cultural Centre in Nigeria, Yang Jianxing, on Sunday hosted executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, at a dinner aimed at strengthening cultural and media relations.
The NUJ delegation was led by its Chairman, Grace Ike, alongside other executive members of the council.
The dinner created an avenue for both parties to deepen mutual understanding and explore opportunities for stronger collaboration between the Chinese Cultural Centre and the media in the Federal Capital Territory.
Discussions during the engagement focused on fostering cultural exchange, promoting dialogue, and enhancing media cooperation as part of broader efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
The event featured moments of shared experiences and constructive conversations, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to sustained partnership.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Chinese Cultural Centre and the Chinese diplomatic mission to build strategic relationships with media stakeholders in the FCT through cultural engagement and dialogue.
