SERVICOM urges reforms to deepen service delivery in MDAs

The SERVICOM Presidency Office, Wednesday called for sustainable promotion of reforms to deepen service excellence in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

 The Acting National Coordinator/ CEO, Mrs. Helen Lawal, stated this during the First Quarter, Charter Performance Reporting meeting in Abuja.

 The acting national coordinator said, “It is imperative that we sustain the momentum of reform, deepen our internal efficiency, and continue to lead by example in the promotion of service excellence across government institutions.”

A press statement by the Head, Public Awareness Manager, SERVICOM, Henrietta Okokon, said all must remain innovative in their approaches and be proactive in engagements.

 “We must be resolute in our commitment to improving service delivery standards nationwide. This meeting marks yet another important milestone in our institutional commitment to performance accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.”

 The meeting, she said accords stakeholders with a valuable platform not only to review the activities undertaken across departments and units during the first quarter of the year but also to critically assess performance against established targets, identify challenges, and chart practical strategies for improved outcomes in subsequent quarters.

 “As we are all aware, the SERVICOM Office and by extension, SERVICOM units occupies a strategic position in the Federal Government’s public service reform agenda of the current administration.

 “Our mandate goes beyond advocacy; it demands measurable action, visible impact, and sustained commitment to ensuring that public institutions deliver services efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with established standards,” she said.
