The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a seasoned leader whose contributions have shaped Nigeria’s democratic journey.
In a statement issued Sunday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party said it was joining millions of Nigerians and supporters around the world in celebrating the president.
The party described Tinubu as a “veteran democrat, statesman and patriot,” noting that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence in the country’s future.
According to the APC, the administration has made significant progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in areas such as economic reforms, infrastructure development and institutional strengthening.
It also highlighted ongoing social investment programmes, efforts to improve national security, and initiatives aimed at empowering young people and supporting workers and students.
The party said it is proud of what it described as Nigeria’s steady progress under Tinubu’s leadership, adding that the APC itself has grown into one of the most influential political platforms in the country since its formation in 2013.
Reaffirming its support for the president, the party said it remains committed to backing his efforts to reposition the country and drive sustainable development.
The APC also offered prayers for the president, wishing him continued good health, wisdom and strength as he leads the nation.
