The South East Youths 4 Progressives (SEY4P) has congratulated Hon. Chimamkpa Ogbonnaya on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Zonal Youth Leader, describing the development as a significant boost for youth inclusion in the region’s political landscape.
In a statement issued by its Chairman, Comrade Chukwuemeka Ugah, the group said Ogbonnaya’s emergence reflects his proven leadership capacity, dedication to youth development, and commitment to progressive ideals.
Speaking to newsmen, Ugah expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for promoting youth participation in governance, while also acknowledging the role of the APC National Chairman, the National Working Committee, and party stakeholders in entrusting South East youths with greater responsibility.
The group also recognized the support of Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, noting his contributions to strengthening the voice and relevance of the South East within the party.
SEY4P said Ogbonnaya’s emergence marks a step toward greater unity and engagement among young people in the zone, expressing confidence in his ability to mobilize and expand the party’s youth base.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the APC and collaborating with the new zonal youth leadership to advance political growth in the South East.
