Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Took the Blame in August Alsina Drama to Protect Will Smith!
Jada Pinkett Smith has reignited one of Hollywood’s most talked-about scandals after confessing she was prepared to let the world hate her if it meant protecting Will Smith.
In a resurfaced interview clip making the rounds online, Jada admitted she embraced the role of “the adulterous wife” after her relationship with August Alsina became public.
“I might have to speak my truth, but I’m also going to protect you,” she said.
Jada said she believed taking the blame would stop the endless speculation surrounding her marriage and help her family move forward.
Necesito conocer que karma está pagando Will Smith.

“Okay, I’m the bad guy. I’m the worst. Great. Let’s be done with it. I wanted it done,” she said.
The Girls Trip star revealed that behind the headlines, she was privately struggling with the feeling that she had abandoned herself while trying to save Will.
“In that moment, because I felt so bad that he was in this situation, I decided I’m gonna love you, Will, and I’m gonna leave myself at the side of the road,” she said.
Years after first discussing the relationship on Red Table Talk, Jada’s latest remarks have thrown the Smiths back into the spotlight. At the time, Jada was accused of preying on Alsina, who was her son, Jaden Smith’s friend, and abusing her power as a maternal figure in his life at a time when he was struggling with health issues. She was also slammed for embarrassing her long-suffering husband, who was seen as the victim in the scenario.
