Kebbi Commissioners Obtain APC Nomination Form For Gov Idris

The forms were procured in Abuja by the Chairman of the Forum and Commissioner for Finance, Abubakar Chika, alongside the Commissioner for Special Duties, Zayyanu Aleiro, on behalf of members of the forum.

The move follows a resolution reached by the forum during a political gathering in Birnin Kebbi last year, where members passed a vote of confidence in Governor Idris and pledged to purchase his nomination form as a demonstration of their continued support for his administration.

The Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, which cost ₦50 million, were officially released by the All Progressives Congress (APC) national headquarters in Abuja.

The party on Tuesday declared the sale of forms open, marking the commencement of the nomination process for aspirants.

It will be recalled that Governor Nasir Idris, during an APC rally held on the 25th, reaffirmed unity within the party and reiterated support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Meanwhile, party faithful and aspirants seeking various elective positions under the APC have begun trooping to the party secretariat in Birnin Kebbi to formally notify party leaders of their intentions, in line with party guidelines, before proceeding to obtain the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.
