Manhunt underway for mother-in-law of ex-beauty queen who was ‘executed’ in bone-chilling video

Mexico City police have launched a massive manhunt for the mother-in-law wanted for the cold-blooded caught-on-video “execution” of a stunning former beauty queen.

The suspected killer, identified as Erika Maria “N” in news reports, went on the lam shortly after the April 15 shooting death of Carolina Flores Gomez, a 27-year-old former Miss Teen Universe, reportedly because she was jealous of her the victim’s hold on her son, Mexico’s El Universal reported.

The chilling video inside Gomez’s posh home in Polanco, one of Mexico’s most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods, shows the former pageant winner from Baja California walking to the back of the home to get her mother-in-law a drink of water, according to several outlets.

Maria is seen following her before six shots are heard in the background.

The victim’s husband, Alejandro Gomez, walks into the frame seconds later, holding the couple’s baby as he asks his mom why she had pulled the trigger.

“She made me angry,” the alleged shooter responds. “You’re mine and she stole you.”

Police said Alejandro Gomez didn’t report the incident until the following day. By then, his mother, identified as the prime suspect, had fled the house and was on the run.

She’s nd now the subject of an arrest warrant.

According to the Spanish-language news outlet Debate, a close friend of the slain beauty, said the victim had been hounded by her mother-in-law since she became pregnant.

“How’s it going with her?” the friend said she once asked her.

“Ay, she doesn’t like me,” Flores Gomez reportedly answered. “I don’t know, she’s never liked me. Since I became pregnant it has gotten worse, she agitates me a lot.”

The high-profile case has rattled the Central American nation, sparking a demonstration in Mexico’s Baja California over the weekend demanding justice for the victim.

Flores Gomez won the Miss Teen Universe title for Baja in 2017.
