NYSC corps member renovates 5 toilet facilities in Zamfara school 


To promote a healthier learning environment, a corps member, Peace Dibal Yohanna (ZM/25A/0024), has renovated an abandoned five-unit toilet facility at the Government Girls Day Secondary School, Samaru, in Gusau local government area of Zamfara state.

At the commissioning ceremony, the state coordinator, Mallam Muhammad Lawan Ahmed, commended the corps member for the laudable project, that it aligns with the core values and objectives of the NYSC scheme.

The coordinator, who was represented by the zonal inspector, Gusau, Mallam Mustapha Waziri Danjuma, highlighted the importance of Community Development Service (CDS), adding that corps members undertake projects to address pressing needs in their host communities.

He also urged the school management and students to ensure proper maintenance of the facility.

The principal of the school, Hajiya Hauwa Nafaru, commended the corps member for executing the project.
