He said Governor Aliyu is also expected to commission the Yandaki-Shinkafi-Kofar Sauro junction road in the state’s metropolitan area at about 5:00 pm on the same day.

The commissioner said Governor Abdulrazak is scheduled to commission a model secondary school at Radda community, in the Charanchi council area, on May 5, 2026, at 11:00 am.

According to the Katsina State Commissioner for Information, Bala Zango, the event is to hold on May 2, 2026, at the palace of the emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.

Zango said three people would be turbaned on the said date, including Mohammed Dikko Radda, who is son to the incumbent state governor.

He said the younger Radda is to be turbaned as the District Head of Radda in the Charanchi council area and that the title was abdicated by his father, Dikko Radda, after he became state governor.

The son of the current Katsina emir, Ahmed Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, would also be turbaned on the same day as the District Head of Dankama, Kaita council area.

Furthermore, the commissioner said Abubakar Darisu would be turbaned on the same day as the District Head of Muduru in the Mani council area.
