US plans on Hormuz exposed? President Trump’s ‘Strait of Trump’ remark raises questions, says if I don’t get Nobel Peace Prize then…

US President Donald Trump addressed his supporters at the Faena Forum in Miami, where he made several sharp statements on the Iran war and global geopolitics. Calling himself a ‘peacemaker’ once again, Trump said that if he does not receive the Nobel Peace Prize, then no one else deserves it. He also claimed that Cuba could be the next target.

Claims Iran’s military has been crushed

Trump stated that through ‘Operation Epic Fury,’ Iran’s military capabilities have been completely destroyed and its leadership is now ‘begging’ for a deal. In his usual humorous tone, he even referred to the Strait of Hormuz as the ‘Strait of Trump.’

He added that the Middle East is now close to being free from what he called Iranian terror and nuclear blackmail. According to him, under his leadership, the United States is eliminating threats posed by the Iranian regime.

‘US has the most powerful military’

Trump emphasised that the US has the strongest military in the world, much of which, he said, was built during his first term. He claimed the country possesses weapons that ‘no one has seen’ and that only a few people even know about.

He further said that Iran, once considered the ‘bully’ of the Middle East for 47 years, is now on the run.

Mentions killing of Qasem Soleimani

Trump also recalled the killing of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani during his first term. In January 2020, the US military carried out a drone strike at Baghdad airport, killing Soleimani. At the time, the US Defense Department said the action was taken to protect American interests, as Soleimani was accused of planning attacks on US troops and officials.

Trump described it as a major moment of his presidency, adding that even Iran’s leadership might have been relieved internally, though they would never admit it.

Remarks on NATO and UK draw criticism

Trump also took aim at NATO and the United Kingdom. Referring to a conversation with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, he mocked British aircraft carriers, calling them small and slow and suggested they could be used more like helicopters.

He said NATO has often failed to support the US and expressed disappointment with the alliance. In contrast, he praised Middle Eastern allies like Bahrain and Kuwait for their support.

‘I deserve the nobel peace prize’

Reiterating his claim, Trump said he wants to be known as a great peacemaker. ‘If I don’t get the Nobel Peace Prize, then nobody will ever get it,’ he said, adding that he is not surprised he hasn’t received it yet.

Missile attack and warning to Iran

Speaking about recent tensions, Trump claimed that 101 missiles were launched at a key US underwater target, described as the world’s largest aircraft carrier. He said all missiles were successfully intercepted and destroyed.

He further warned that the US is now targeting Iranian positions and claimed Iran has no air defense left. According to Trump, the US still has 3554 targets remaining and will decide its next steps soon.
