Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has released its official timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, in line with Nigeria’s electoral guidelines.
The announcement, contained in a statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar Bature, outlined key dates for the sale of nomination forms and the conduct of primary elections across all elective positions.
According to the statement, the timetable was prepared in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999, as amended), the Electoral Act 2026, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revised schedule for the 2027 polls.
The faction fixed the presidential nomination form at ₦51 million, while governorship aspirants are expected to pay ₦21 million.
Other fees include ₦6 million for Senate aspirants, ₦4 million for the House of Representatives, and ₦3 million for State House of Assembly hopefuls.
The sale of forms is scheduled to run from Monday, April 27, 2026, to Monday, May 4, 2026.

The development signals the formal commencement of internal processes by the faction as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
While the announcement provides clarity for aspirants within the faction, it also reflects ongoing alignments within the PDP as different blocs position themselves for the upcoming electoral cycle.
